Congrats to Local 549’s two newest members: apprentice J.P. Cash and journeyman David Ruffley! Both are working for CW Beal in Erie and are excited for the secure future that comes with DC 57’s wages and benefits. J.P. joined the union to start a career in the trades, and David comes to us from the non-union sector and has over 20 years of experience in the drywall finishing and painting industries. David also came into the union to better himself and prepare for the future with a retirement plan. David said he wishes he did this 20 years ago. If you see them on the jobsites make sure to welcome them to our union!
