An organization of over 1,500 members in Western Pennsylvania. DC 57 was formed in 1999 when Local Unions #6, #409, #530, #751, #2006, #479, #549, and #1968 with over 100 years of existence were combined into one council.
As an affiliate of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, our goal is to represent all of the individuals who wish to work at our trades in Western PA, and to help them achieve a career with good wages, benefits, safety, and dignity in the workplace. Our staff and members partner with local contractors to bring you the best possible painting, glazing, wallcovering, drywall finishing, and installation services.
