Jack Barrett, the longtime business agent of Local 479 and the first president in District Council 57’s history, died Thursday, January 18th, 2024. He was 90 years old. Jack was a proud unionist who always had his union brothers and sisters in mind, and the officers, members, and families of LU 479 and DC 57 mourn his passing and pass their condolences on to Jack’s family.
