City of Bridges Community Land Trust Workers Ratify Contract, Become DC 57 Members

Congratulations to the staff of City of Bridges Community Land Trust (CBCLT), who ratified their first union contract and became the newest members of DC 57! CBCLT is a nonprofit that strengthens our Pittsburgh community by creating affordable housing opportunities throughout our neighborhoods. The CBCLT board unanimously voted to recognize the union last fall, and after five months of negotiating agreed on a contract that secures raises for the employees along with other benefits. Workers deserve a union whether they’re building the future of our region in our traditional construction crafts or building vibrant and affordable Pittsburgh communities in organizations like City of Bridges. Thank you to the board for a collaborative and pleasant negotiating process and we welcome the newest members of our One Union family!
